About the role

We’re currently seeking a Session Leader to join our team at the Regent Arcade Adelaide Donor Centre. Reporting to the Donor Centre Manager, you’ll provide operational oversight to ensure that the end-to-end donation experience runs efficiently with no compromise on quality or safety. You'll use your leadership capabilities to support the Donor Centre Manager, while coaching and guiding the team to deliver a great experience to our Donors.

Our Session Leaders manage the operational aspects of the the shift and are also involved in blood collection. We're looking for great leaders with experience in building excellent culture in their team. Whether you're a Registered or Enrolled Nurse with leadership experience, or an experienced leader from a customer focused environment without previous clinical experience, we provide a 10 week training program for all of our collections staff to bring you up to speed with the unique work we do.

**A day in the Centre could see you**:
Deliver a supportive and safe experience to our amazing donors

Develop and coach teams

Physically insert and remove needles to collect donations

Act as the first point of contact for any complex donor assessments

Provide clinical oversight to team to ensure phlebotomy success

Show pride in upholding our high safety and quality standards.

This is a permanent part time opportunity, 64 hours per fortnight across a rotating roster, Monday to Saturday. Our paid and flexible self-paced training program has a balance between on-the-job practice and online class schedules to ensure that you are well supported.
