We are seeking** **dynamic individuals to join our **Hospitality team** and provide daily support to residents at our **Bethanie Illawong Aged Care Facility**. Bethanie Illawong 39 bed aged care facility offering a secure area for local residents located in Hamilton Hill.

This role is currently being offered on a **Casual basis** with available shifts Monday - Sunday for morning and afternoon shifts in the capacity of **Kitchen Hands, Food Service Assistants and Domestic Assistants.**

**Key Responsibilities**:
The successful applicants must be willing to work across the following departments listed below:
**Kitchen Hand**
- Ensuring responsible work practices of food preparation, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ensuring required ingredients are available daily
- Assisting is preparation, apportioning and serving of meals
- Maintaining all utensils, equipment, work benches and general surrounds in a clean and safe condition
- Collecting and washing pots, pans, crockery and cutlery

**Food Services Assistant**
- Ensuring delivery, set up, service, washing and clean down are completed
- Ensuring care recipients meal and hydration needs are met
- Assisting in preparation and portioning of care recipients meals
- Ensuring facility areas are clean and safe

**Domestic Assistant**
- Cleaning of furniture, bathrooms toilets & floors
- Dispose of waste products appropriately
- Maintain communal areas are in a clean, safe condition
- Ensure all personal laundry and linen is laundered correctly and ensure infection control practices are adhered to
- Plan duties to ensure service is delivered in the time allocated
- Previous experience in a similar position within Healthcare _desirable_

- Previous experience within a Cleaning position
- Ability to work as part of a team, and also independently
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritise duties to ensure all tasks are completed within required timeframe
