**Opportunity**

Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced and reliable Scaffolders to join our close-knit team at Karara Mine Site.
- Position is FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Geraldton on an 8/6 roster
- Permanent Full Time and Casual positions are available at a payrate of:
Permanent Full Time: Dayshift $49.00 per hour and Nightshift $53.90 per hour
Casual: Dayshift $52.50 per hour and Nightshift $57.00 per hour
- Accommodation and meals are provided onsite
- Karara Mine is located 250km inland from Geraldton and only a 45-minute flight from Perth
- Commencement date: ASAP

**Duties**
- Fixing the scaffolding to the building or structure to make it more stable, using short ‘tie tubes’
- Laying planks (battens) across the scaffolding for workers to walk on
- Putting up the scaffolding poles (standards) and attaching the horizontal tubes (ledgers) to them with couples
- Unloading scaffolding equipment at the site
- Fixing guard rails and safety netting
- Deconstruct the scaffolding after a job is finished.
- Setting base plates on the ground at regular intervals (these stop the upright poles slipping)
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ scaffolding experience in the mining, civil or industrial construction sectors
- Ability to follow instructions verbally & written
- Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets (2 years from issued date)
- Nationally accredited OHS card (White card)
- High Risk Work Licenses - Advanced scaffolding, Intermediate Rigging
- CN (Franna Crane ticket) and Forklift ticket desirable
- Must pass Pre-employment Medical, DAS and Respirator Fit Test
- Onsite D&A test carried out daily
- Driver’s Licence
- Valid working rights in Australia (point of hire is Perth)
