Our Distribution Centre is at the core of supporting our brands, stores and customers, delivering the stock volumes. Ensuring our plant, machinery, equipment and vehicles are in top working order facilitates our teams to do what they do best, safely, efficiently and accurately.

Reporting into the Distribution Centre Manager, the Operations and Maintenance Planning Lead owns all maintenance, reporting, inspection, safety management and administration for the plant, equipment, machinery, vehicles and facilities of the Distribution Centre.

You will work within the DC to provision service, repair and maintenance works, working both proactively and reactively to ensure assets are safety operable and compliant with regulatory requirements and company policy/procedure.

Key responsibilities include:

- First and foremost, maintaining a safe working environment for all team members by ensuring assets are appropriately managed and compliant with safety procedures
- Support Distribution Centre teams with awareness and understanding of safe operating standards
- Own the asset management lifecycle including inspection and maintenance schedules, repairs and replacement and asset register
- End to end fixed asset contractor management including vendor sourcing and engagement, costing and liaison
- Conduct maintenance on fixed assets using own skills & qualifications where relevant
- Work closely with DC Operations leaders to plan proactive scheduling with consideration to operational impacts and planned volumes
- On site support, including out of hours support and weekends, for planned works for all fixed assets
- The role will also support departments across the DC through leadership, project work and general support

**You will bring**:

- A background in facilities and equipment maintenance, preferably in Manufacturing or Distribution Centre Operations, and a familiarity with conveyor systems, warehouse racking systems, forklift vehicles and fire systems
- Previous work in a mechanical or electrical field
- Preferred, but not required, qualifications or trade certificates in plant, equipment, machinery maintenance
- Drivers license essential
