Our client is a family owned & operated company that was established in 1995, starting off with a single truck. Now, 25+ years on, our client has grown to a fleet of over 100 trucks & trailers and offers a complete range of transport services while maintaining the family values.

**The Role**

Our client is located in Acacia Ridge QLD. They are currently looking for an experienced HC Drivers to join their team. The role is an ASAP start, Monday - Friday (6:00AM onwards). Your key responsibilities would include;
- Transporting finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centres
- Inspecting vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Document and log work/rest periods and kilometres spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
- Report defects, accidents or violations

**What you’ll need to succeed**
- Valid HC license mandatory and experience
- Driver’s License and car
- Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc)
- No recent driving violations
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
