Storeworker

As a **Store Worker**, you will be responsible for providing an outstanding service to customers within our Hamilton branch and report to the Branch Manager. You will provide high-level customer service and support in meeting customer needs (over-the-counter sales & phone sales). Assisting with warehouse functions as required. **Key Responsibilities** - Liaise with the Credit Department about customer accounts. - Order entry - multiple types including Quotes, OTC, Standard, No Charge, Samples, and Returns. - Investigation of inventory issues to satisfy customers. - Process orders and collate appropriate paperwork. - Replenishment orders are checked and put away within 24 hours of receipt. - Customer orders are processed and receipted following PPG processes and policies. - Ensure the warehouse area is always clean and tidy. - Manage workflow and employee direction within the warehouse. - Cash sales reconciliation including daily banking procedures. - Occasional paint mixing. - Compliance with all PPG policies and EH&S procedures **Qualifications** - Customer Service experience in a trade environment is required. - General warehousing skills. - A forklift license is preferred but not required. - Permanent Working Rights in Australia is a must. **About us**: **PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD** **The PPG Way** Every single day at PPG: **We partner with customers to create mutual value.** **We are "One PPG" to the world.** **We trust our people every day, in every way.** **We make it happen.** **We run it like we own it.** **We do better today than yesterday - everyday.** PPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
