An exciting opportunity to join the Special Buys team has become available within the National Buying department of ALDI Stores, based in Minchinbury. This is a permanent full-time role.

As a Specials Analyst, you will be responsible for project management and the development of tools and reporting to drive efficiencies throughout the Special Buys program. You will partner with colleagues to support the centralisation and ongoing management of the Special Buys program, which will involve analysing and assessing data sets in order to ensure best practice is built and executed at a national level.

What we are looking for:

- Perform fact based, data driven analysis and modelling on significant amounts of data for the purpose of turning it into actionable information required to drive key business decisions
- Design and develop Special Buys program reporting to provide visibility and insights on business financials compared to set targets
- Analyse theme or departmental performance to provide insights and recommendations for enhancement of financial delivery
- Utilise data visualisation tools to communicate complex insights and present findings to stakeholders to influence commercial decision making
- Drive outcomes mindful of end-to-end impacts and contribution of achievement of department goals
- Engage in problem-solving and investigate options to determine the best resolution, and provide process improvement recommendations to relevant stakeholders
- Development and management of processes to drive optimal outcomes within end-to-end management of Special Buys program.

**Qualifications**
- Prior experience with SQL is essential (or other similar database management systems)
- Proven experience as a business/data analyst, planning or reporting role
- Proven experience in organising, manipulating and analysing large and complex data sets
- Demonstrated experience developing strong relationships with various stakeholders
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to adapt in fast paced environments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.

**Remuneration**
- Transparent tiered salary range of** $139,200 - $158,800 including superannuation.
