**Mechanical Engineer - Building Services Business Development**

**he Role**:
The Sydney Branch of this national design consultancy needs a new Mechanical Leader who thrives on business development and client interaction. They have just won a major project and are expanding in Sydney but require the services of a confident and accomplished business development guru. Leading the mechanical team, gaining fame and fortune with their iconic brand, mentoring and growing the business are all secondary objectives - this is a business development role focused on mechanical services design in Sydney first and foremost.

**The Company**:

- National Footprint, multiple offices, 40+ staff, all disciplines of building services
- The team is very experienced - the Sydney team need a leader, however
- They work with top-tier builders and architects and contractors - major projects
- They have a competitive advantage in being able to deliver the same or better services design with an innovation / sustainability ‘X-factor’. They are unique
- Repeat business, strong reputation, clients who go out of their way to use them and give them more and more work

**Responsibilities**:

- Business Development
- Leadership of Mechanical section and team output
- Business Development
- Overall project management and services coordination

**Requirements**:

- Charisma, charm, ability to win work, sell the company services and brand and inspire a client following
- Degree qualified engineer (chartered preferred but not essential)
- projects in Australia is essential
