**About the Role**
The Claims and Schedules Specialist leads and supervises the Schedules and Claims team in delivering best practice outcomes and will help to accurately and promptly bill for services delivered. The role will ensure that all individual funding agreements for Minda customers are implemented and are aligned with their NDIS plan or other governance obligations, and Minda’s internal requirements.
This position operates within our Client Support Unit with the aim to provide a seamless positive customer service experience for Minda Clients, their nominees and Minda businesses with the aim to “tell your story once.”
**In this role you will be responsible for**:
- Leading and supervising the daily operations of the team of Client Support Officers - Schedules and Claims
- Ensuring all delivered services are invoiced in a timely manner
- Monitoring team performance and ensuring compliance to procedures
- Overseeing Scheduling and Claiming processes, including daily troubleshooting of issues and ensuring adherence to policies
- Performing & Review of complex reconciliations of billed services and funding alignment
- Developing and implementing best practice procedures for the Schedules and Claims team
- Managing and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders & service areas
- Assisting in the implementation of strategies and policies
- Developing and implementing streamline procedures to increase efficiency
- Overseeing Client’s NDIS schedule set up and approval function
- Proven experience within a similar role
- Understanding of the NDIS and price guide (preferred)
- Extensive knowledge of the disability sector and NDIS rules and regulations including NDIS pricing schedules, services and supports
- Highly developed communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft suite, inclusive of MS Excel, MS Word and Outlook, with experience using ERPs
- Experience with TechnologyOne/CiAnywhere
- Demonstrated knowledge of computerised accounting systems and experience working with large data captures
- Excellent financial management and administration skills
**Additional requirements**
- NDIS Worker Screening Check/DHS Disability Clearance
- Current Driver's Licence
- Unrestricted Working Rights
- COVID vaccinations (Two doses and Booster)
