Conplant is Australia's leading compaction hire specialist. We have experienced significant growth in New South Wales and are currently seeking a new Yard Hand team member based out of our branch in Weston.

**The Role**

We can offer you an interesting and varied full-time role in a busy environment working within our small team. Your primary role will be to carry out cleaning and detailing of returned hire plant and the detailing of capital equipment to agreed standards to contribute to the safe, efficient and effective delivery of customer requirements.

You will also undertake planned and ad hoc housekeeping duties on plant, equipment, vehicles and amenities to ensure that these remain tidy, safe, clean and in good working order. Applicants need to be willing and able to take a flexible approach as tasks will vary and no two days will be the same.

**Ideally, you will have**:

- Previous experience working in/around heavy equipment and mobile plant and a genuine interest in learning mechanical skills
- A full drivers licence is essential
- A Co-operative attitude, being able to work well with others as part of a small team
- Demonstrated willingness and ability to work within established safe work practices
- Current Construction (White) card and forklift licence are desirable but not essential as training can be provided
- The ability to perform physically demanding work, including work at height, the ability to operate and maintain a high-pressure washer and attachments, bending, lifting (up to 20 kg), stretching and be comfortable working outdoors in variable weather conditions
