- Currently working 14 days on, 7 days off roster (DIDO)
- Category 5 Labour Management are a locally owned and operated labour hire business, supplying trades, construction, civil and maintenance personnel to various industries across Australia and New Zealand._
- We have roles available for skilled fencing personnel doing labouring and operating for our growing team in Orange, NSW. We have work throughout the state to support multiple projects in and around NSW specifically looking for the team to be either based in Bathurst, Orange, Dubbo or Parkes regions._

- 10-to-12-hour dayshifts
- Base rate plus penalties apply

- Training opportunities
- Overseeing a fencing crew and leading the team by setting the example to deliver quality outcomes
- Meet network standards and ensure all safety procedures are followed at all times
- Concreting strainer posts
- Driving star pickets
- Erecting mesh and wire fencing
- Installing urban and security fencing
- Posi track operating (experience driving posts with a rammer attachment is favourable)
- Measure and cut materials to the appropriate length and size
- Ensure fences are level and secure
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders and team members
- Maintain a safe and tidy work environment
- Work way from home (on LAFHA) during roster as required

**What you will need**:

- Proven leadership skills including experience leading teams
- Ability to work under pressure and meet client deadlines
- Ability to work unsupervised and troubleshoot on the spot
- Held previous roles as Leading Hand, Team Leader or Supervisor
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret fencing drawings/specifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions - Able to pass Category 3 rail medical
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
- RIW Card and Safely Access the Rail Corridor (desirable)
- MIG and stick welding experience (desirable)
