SA Health is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Full-time, Short-Term Contract Counsellor within the SALHN Drug and Alcohol Services unit, based in Adelaide Metro Southern.

**About the role**:
As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of individuals seeking support for substance abuse and addiction. Your role will involve providing comprehensive counselling services, empowering clients to overcome their challenges and embark on a path towards recovery
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, fostering an environment of compassion, empathy, and understanding.
- Your expertise and commitment will be instrumental in shaping positive outcomes for our clients and their families.

**About you**:

- Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- Highly developed level of interpersonal skills, including demonstrated ability to relate to a broad range of people from all walks of life; negotiate and resolve conflict.
- Demonstrated ability to project a positive role model for residents and staff.
