**Description**:
**The role**:
Join the Cater Care team as a Casual Kitchen Hand at one of our welcoming aged care residences in Wembley
We’re looking for a motivated team player who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll assist our Chefs with kitchen clean-downs, basic food preparation, and help maintain a clean and positive environment for our residents.
**Roster**: Evening shifts across various days of the week, with occasional morning shifts also available

**What this role involves**:
Assisting with food preparation
Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
Prepare and present texture modified foods
**Skills and Experiences**:
Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
