As Production Planner, you will be responsible for providing the RMS facility with a production plan consistent with the plant capacity and projected customer forecast requirements. You will be responsible for compiling & completing all factory works orders & allocating budgeted hours to production jobs.

**Duties**:

- Promote, lead by example and ensure compliance of HSE & Quality practices in accordance with company policy and procedures for all production support team staff, suppliers, contractors and visitors;
- Develop firm production schedules and communicate to production leads & teams;
- Prepare scheduled work orders / job packs to ensure that activities are conducted in a coordinated manner;
- Manage material and labour demand requirements in conjunction with the Production Manager;
- Identify and communicate issues & concerns that will hinder the business’s ability to achieve customer targets;
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to assist with material procurement;
- Compile detailed monthly reports;
- Attend weekly meetings to review delivery forecasts;
- Attend daily pre-start meetings with production leads & team; and
- Perform other related duties as required to support business requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

- _ 2 + years in a similar role;_
- _ High level of computer literacy, experience in MRP & ERP systems;_
- _ Ability to handle pressure and deadlines;_
- _ Ability to multitask;_
- _ Excellent communication skills, good presentation and the ability to interact ;and gain the support of staff;_
- _ Understanding of WH&S procedures; and_
- _ Will maintain and support OH&S policies and expectations._
