**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Inventory Management**:
- Maintain accurate inventory records for natural stone products.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder as necessary.
- Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent damage to stone products.
**Receiving and Shipping**:
- Unloading Containers
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Coordinate and prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring secure and damage-free handling of stone products.
- Loading Orders
- Ensure timely and accurate dispatch of goods to customers.
**Warehouse Organization**:
- Organize and maintain the warehouse layout to optimize space utilization and ease of access.
- Implement, Follow and maintain proper labeling and tracking systems for different types of stone.
- Ensure all goods are stored in a safe and orderly manner to prevent breakage.
**Safety and Compliance**:
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines specific to handling heavy and delicate materials.
- Conduct regular safety audits and address any potential hazards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to the handling of natural stone.
**Equipment Operation**:
- Have valid Forklift operations license
- Have valid Driving License
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and cranes, safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance and report any equipment malfunctions.
- Utilize specialized equipment for handling large and heavy stone products.
**Documentation and Reporting**:
- Maintain accurate records of all warehouse transactions.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory levels, shipments, and other metrics as when required by Manager or Management.
- Assist in developing and implementing warehouse policies and procedures tailored to natural stone handling.
**Team Collaboration**:
- Work closely with other departments, such as procurement, sales, and logistics, to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide training and support to warehouse staff on the proper handling of natural stone.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations.
**Key Result Areas (KRA)**:
**Inventory Accuracy**:
- Achieve and maintain a minimum of 99% inventory accuracy for natural stone products.
- Complete regular cycle counts and annual physical inventory with mínimal discrepancies.
**Order Fulfillment**:
- Ensure 100% on-time shipment of orders.
- Maintain an order accuracy rate of 99% or higher, ensuring no damage to stone during transit.
**Warehouse Efficiency**:
- Optimize warehouse space utilization, aiming for a minimum of 85% space efficiency.
- Reduce the average time to process incoming and outgoing shipments, considering the careful handling required for natural stone.
**Safety Compliance**:
- Achieve zero workplace accidents or safety incidents.
- Ensure 100% compliance with safety regulations and company policies related to the handling of heavy and delicate materials
**Cost Management**:
- Implement cost-saving measures to reduce warehouse operational expenses by a specified percentage.
- Monitor and control inventory carrying costs, including damage prevention measures for natural stone.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the natural stone or construction materials industry.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software.
- Holds Valid Forklift and Driving License
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and cranes (certification preferred).
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations, specifically for heavy and delicate materials.
**Physical Requirements**:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 100 lbs) and handle delicate stone products.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions, depending on the warehouse environment.
