**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and pedagogical frameworks.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that supports student growth and participation.
- Effectively manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies and procedures.
- Assess and provide timely feedback on student learning as required.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the broader life of the school community, where appropriate.

- A commitment to supporting the mission and Catholic ethos of Parramatta Marist High School.
- Sound knowledge of secondary curriculum areas and contemporary teaching practice.
- Capacity to work collaboratively within a team-teaching environment.
- High-level proficiency in the use of ICT to support learning in a blended classroom context.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
- Ability to follow up on student wellbeing and behaviour concerns in consultation with school leaders.
- A demonstrated understanding of child safeguarding practices and professional boundaries.

**Employment**

Casual teachers are employed by Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) under the NSW and ACT Catholic Systemic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2023.
