**The opportunity**
The Risk Manager is a critical role within the Second Line of Worldline, focusing specifically on the Australian market. Worldline has established a strategic presence within Australia to grow the business across the APAC region. Reporting to the Head of Risk, the Risk Manager is instrumental in supporting key stakeholders in having a holistic view of risks across the Australian market. The Risk Manager is also critical to ensuring that the Risk Management and Internal Control Frameworks and Processes are effectively implemented and executed.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a high performing team which has the ability to shape the risk management practices. This role also provides opportunities to collaborate with the Second Line functions both locally in Australia, and globally with the Worldline Group and Merchant Services Second Line functions.
Worldline currently has offices in Melbourne and Sydney and while this role will be based in Melbourne some travel (less than 10%) will be required to the Sydney office and other offices as required. As Worldline grows within the APAC region this role may also be required to provide support to other markets within the APAC region.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Establish and maintain a sound Risk Management culture through awareness and stakeholder engagement within the Worldline Australia scope.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with Worldline Australia Leadership Team members and risk owners.
- Ensure that the Risk Profile for the Worldline Australia scope is regularly updated in collaboration with the First Line and Second Lines.
- Ensure that the Risk Management Process is executed effectively and that all risks are captured with corresponding actions plans.
- Ensure Third Party Risk Management and Business Incident Management Processes are established and adhered to.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements in so far as it relates to Risk Management.
- Facilitate, and lead as necessary, Risk Committees for the Worldline Australia scope.
- Prepare Risk Management reports, both internally and externally, as required by Auditors and Regulators.
- Support the development and implementation of the Internal Control Framework and provide assurance over controls, to assure that risks are effectively mitigated.
**Experience**
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Governance, Risk or Assurance related fields
- Ideally have experience in payments or technology driven organisation
**Competencies & Knowledge**
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements relating to risk management.
- Good commercial awareness and industry knowledge.
- Good knowledge and awareness Risk Management industry best practices and frameworks (COSO, ISO 31000, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, etc).
- Results driven and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 products.
- Experience with setting up or using Risk Management tools (preferably ReadiNow or RSA Archer).
- Multicultural and flexible mindset with the ability to multi-task and work in an international environment.
**Education**
- Bachelors Degree (Economics, Finance, Law, or equivalent).
- Industry Risk Management Certifications (CRMA, CRISC, CISA, etc).
