**The Sterilisation Technician position**:
We are currently looking for a Sterilisation Technician to assist our team of highly skilled professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional service and the best quality of care to our patients.
To be successful in this position you must be a team player and have the ability to think outside the box
This is a full-time position, and you must be available to work rotating shifts, including public holidays and peak periods.

**Duties will include but not be limited to**:

- Operate sterilisation machine
- Care for instruments appropriately
- Clean and sterilises surgical instruments and other hospital equipment
- Handling and disposing of infectious waste appropriately
- Ability to prioritise in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
- Responsible for reporting damaged or malfunctioning equipment
- Basic understanding of sterility principles
- Comply with infection control policies and procedures
- High attention to detail
- Able to manage a high volume of instrument cleaning procedures
- Ability to work efficiently with a large task load
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team.

**To be considered for this position it is highly desirable that you have**:

- Enrolled in Certificate lll Sterilisation Services
