APG is currently seeking experienced Plant Operator for a 4-Month contract within Cooma NSW Government Sector.
**Pay Rate: $42.44 per hour + Super + Overtime**
**Hours of work: 9 day fortnight, 7am - 3.30pm**
**4 Month Contract + Possibility of extension**
**Job Details**
You will operate a variety of major plant items that are used in road construction and maintenance works. You’ll be required to carry out certain duties including but not limited to:
- maintenance of established pavements
- construction of new or enhanced pavements
- establishment and maintenance of roadside fixtures and signage
- We’re seeking a team player and experienced plant operator who is experienced in safe and efficient operations of Bobcats, Tractors, Excavators, Soil Stabilisers, Rollers, Loaders, and other general road maintenance equipment. Particular preference will be given to those who can operate these plant items in the proximity of live traffic. You’ll be confident, and highly capable operating major plant and have proven experience rectifying simple hazards without direction and reporting them accordingly
**Required Licenses / Tickets**:
**Required**:
- Plant Operator Experience
- HR Licence
- Experience in truck driving in construction sites
**Desirable**:
- Traffic Control ticket
- Snow clearing experience
