Private Housekeeper

A very friendly family of four in Redfern is looking for a friendly and efficient housekeeper to help manage the house and do some occasional help with child minding (a 4yo and an 18mo old).

We want this to be a very nice environment for you to work in and are looking for a relatively long term person who can become a friendly, familiar face in our family.

**General tasks include**:

- Cleaning & tidying the house - including vacuuming, mopping, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, etc
- Washing, folding & packing away clothes, sheets and towels, and making beds
- Shopping & occasional general errands
- Cooking simple meals (mostly child friendly dinners)
- Washing up / Dishwasher & packing away
- Occasional childminding / babysitting / daycare pickup

**Pay**
- $30 plus super (ie ~$33 per hour)
- At least 15 hrs per week
- Total of at least $500 per week

**Ideal days & times**
- Monday (or Tuesday) - around noon to around 6pm
- Thursday (or Friday) - around noon to around 9pm (this includes babysitting while both children are asleep so parents can go out for a local dinner)
- If you’re able to occasionally work a few hours on weekends, or do some ad hoc babysitting, that would be a big plus.

- Good with kids
- Great communicator
- Nice / friendly

**Requirements**:

- No car required
- Working with children check & police background check
- At least one year of experience with references
- Start ASAP

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
