**The Opportunity**
We’re currently seeking an experienced Pipe Fitter to join our site services team. This role focuses on the fabrication, installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and piping systems used in fixed plant environments.

We’re looking for someone with strong mechanical skills, a high level of attention to detail, and hands-on experience in pipe fitting and welding, including commissioning and flange management.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Fabricate and install pipework, including carbon pipe using MIG, Stick, and Flux Core welding techniques
- Conduct pipe fitting, flange management, and pipe commissioning to ensure system integrity
- Interpret technical drawings and complete pipe fitting tasks such as assembly, disassembly, alignment, and adjustment of components
- Support the setup and maintenance of systems in bitumen and other industrial processing environments
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure plant reliability
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime
- Collaborate with other team members to coordinate installation and fabrication tasks
- Adhere to company safety standards and maintain accurate records of work performed

**About You**:

- Certificate III in Mechanical Fitting or Fabrication (or equivalent), OR
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a pipe fitting and fabrication role
- Proven experience in:

- Pipe fitting and pipe welding (carbon steel - MIG, Stick, Flux Core)
- Flange management and pipe commissioning
- Bitumen systems and processing equipment (advantageous)
- Forklift licence (or ability to obtain)
- Dogging and Rigging tickets (advantageous)
- Strong commitment to Safety, Health & Environmental practices

**Experience**:

- pipe fitting and fabrication: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Cert III in Mechanical Fitting or Fabrication (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
