**Child Care Opportunity for Mature People**

Are you looking for part time or casual work in a child care centre? We are looking for people that are interested in working in our beautiful learning environments to either assist in the running of our rooms or Lead our rooms. This position would suit semi-retired people that are wanting to keep active and enjoy children and being part of a team.

**The Centre**

**The Prince Charles Hospital Early Education Centre** is located on the grounds of the Prince Charles Hospital, off Hamilton Rd, Chermside. Our centre has been rated as Exceeding by the Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority. We offer amazing programs to our children and families and to the community with inter-generational activites and wellness programs as well as beach kindy, music programs and PMP.

**Position requirements**

The successful applicant must have a strong desire to provide high quality care and great communication skills. Suitable applicants must be able to meet the following criteria;
- Hold/studying towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood minimum or be willing to undertake study - **we will provide this course and cover these costs for you in full**:

- Hold a current blue card
- Hold a current first aid, CPR & Asthma Anaphylaxis training or be willing to obtain - **once again, we will provide this for you**:

- Be motivated & enthusiastic
- Demonstrate a high level of communication skills and maintain a professional manner in the workplace
- Above all be passionate about living a healthy lifestyle as this is imperative to be a role model for the children in our care

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: $20.00 - $38.00 per hour
