Zagame’s House is looking for a wow-worthy Duty Manager to join our expanding family. It’s a unique role at this level, with prime opportunity to be trained in all aspects of the hotel.
The successful applicant will:
- Lead the vision and values of Zagame’s House guest experiences
- Work closely with the Assistant Hotel Manager, Front Office, Housekeeping, and F&B teams to deliver and maintain exceptional service standards and guest experiences
- Actively contribute to hotel targets and objectives
- Be pro
- active in controlling costs being fully aware of forecasted business and targeted profitability whilst maintaining standards
- Lead Zagame’s House policies & procedures
- Be able to roll sleeves up and get the job done - no matter what it takes
- Be a juggler - you will have many balls in the air at a time or wine glasses in F&B
- Be able to deliver the BEST boutique experience in Melbourne - and lead our hotel teams to do the same
- Have an appreciation of the unique, the different, and the ‘out of the box’ (We don’t believe there is a box)
- Question the ‘norm’ naturally and always look for ways to improve and do things differently
- Have great attention to detail
- Appreciate being at an award-winning hotel and is happy to do whatever it takes to stay there

**EXPERIENCE**:
- Minimum 2 year’s operational experience in front office department experience essential.
- Experience in Hotel Management software and Point of Sales software.
- Reservations experience is a bonus
**EDUCATION**:
- Graduate from Kindergarten ✔
- Somewhat tech-savvy - basic computer knowledge and experience with MS office, Point of Sales, Inventory and store programs
- Attainment of the necessary Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
