One of our clients, a leading provider of LPG and natural gas in Western Australia, is seeking the services of an experienced Maintenance Planner to join the Chandler Macleod Team based at their Kwinana offices for a period of 6+ months on a Monday - Friday (38 hour week) Roster.

The main duties of this role include:

- The role of the Maintenance Planner is to improve and optimise maintenance efficiency, productivity and quality through scoping, planning, scheduling and co-ordination of maintenance resources, parts, materials, and access to plant and equipment.
- To ensure that planned programmed maintenance activities are scheduled and organised to comply with maintenance regimes prescribed and authorised by the instrument\electrical, mechanical or gas specialist as appropriate.
- To ensure that planned and corrective maintenance activities are scheduled and organised to comply with standing service level agreements as approved by the instrument\electrical, mechanical or gas specialist as appropriate.
- To take ownership and responsibility for continuous improvement and development of plant maintenance systems, practices and procedures.
- To ensure effective communication and cooperation between all teams with the common goal of optimising operations safety, logistic and maintenance outcomes.
- To function effectively as an integral member of the maintenance planning team including assisting wherever possible to support cross-discipline maintenance planning efforts and demands.

- Shutdown planning & scheduling
- Planning & Scheduling experience in Petrochemicals/Oil &Gas/Mining
- Preferably a Mechanical Trade Background
- Microsoft suite, scheduling tools i.e. MS Projects, CMMS (JDE ,SAP, Pronto)
