About the Role:
You will be part of a dynamic and inclusive business enterprise that provides opportunities for people with disabilities to be employed alongside other trade-skilled team members.

This role will involve working in the Dubbo region completing cleaning maintenance at commercial sites including childcare centres and common areas at multi-unit residential complexes.

We are keen to get started, so interviews will commence as applicants are identified

What success looks like:

- Delivery of a high cleaning standard, excellent customer service and positive communication to all customers
- Supported employees were assisted to develop new skills and achieve employment goals.
- Tasks were completed consistent with instructions from team leaders and supervisors, as well as contract specifications and scheduling requirements.
- Accidents, injuries, and near misses were reported immediately. Hazards and risks were identified and acted upon or escalated for action in a timely manner.

Skills that make you stand out:

- A commitment to the Aruma Code of Conduct
- Experience in commercial cleaning operations, qualifications an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
- Self-motivated and can demonstrate initiative on the job as you will be working alone much of the time
- Professional presentation and customer service
- Demonstrate understanding of WHS responsibilities
- Demonstrate competence in safe work practices
- Good written & verbal communication skills
- Problem solving and technical skills to address maintenance, contract and scheduling issues.
- A high level of physical fitness to meet the manual handling requirements of the position.
- Sound negotiation skills, able to resolve conflict and assess when to escalate issues.
- Sound organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.
- Ability to work independently and/ or collaboratively as a team member.
- Valid current driver’s license.
- Working with Children Check.
- NDISWC clearance
- White card and asbestos awareness certificate an advantage however full training provided
- A confirmation record of COVID-19 vaccination (dose 1 & 2)
