**About the Contact Centres Branch**

The Contact Centres Branch (CCB) provides exceptional support to Workforce Australia Online Services participants, employers, students, and members of the public. The CCB works cohesively to achieve the strategic direction of the department and of the Australian Public Service, with staff expected to drive innovation; cultivate a culture of service delivery excellence; and demonstrate personal drive and integrity. **About the New Work Implementation team**

The New Work Implementation (NWI) team is responsible for scoping projects and developing costings for work associated with ideas that are presented by stakeholders to improve service delivery to, and outcomes for, the customers serviced by the CCB.

Ideas for new ways of working can come from a range of stakeholders including, but not limited to:

- Contact Centre branch staff,
- the Secretary and senior executives of the department,
- program areas,
- government,
- other agencies or departments,
- working groups,
- stakeholder advocate groups (eg. the Australian Unemployed Workers Union),
- customers (Participants, students or employers),
- community organisations, or
- members of the general public,

**Duties and Responsibilities**

As an APS4, your duties will involve:

- Assist in the delivery of projects under the direction of higher classification levels.
- With assistance plan, estimate and monitor related project work.
- Contribute new ideas and maximise the benefits of change, including the identification of opportunities to improve the efficiency of business processes.
- Gather and analyse evidence and data and document and analyse results.
- Identify issues and contribute to the resolution of issues and problems.
- Identify and mitigate risks that will impact on own and teamwork outcomes.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders on moderately complex matters.
- Build rapport and maintain stakeholder relationships within defined parameters.
- Resolve moderately complex enquiries from stakeholders and provide information and advice as a representative of the work area.
- Preparing documents, presentations and talking points.
- Represent the work area at internal and external meetings and conferences.
