Blue Care’s support for Queenslanders spans the Brisbane Metro, Gold and Sunshine Coast regions, Far North Queensland, Central Queensland, Fraser Coast and South West Queensland, and we would love to hear from you- As a Personal Carer you’ll provide care your clients living in our residential home, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life through activities that include:
- Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, help at meal times and general mobility
- Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
- Supporting with community based recreational and social activities
- Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments

**What you’ll need**:

- Certificate III Individual Support, Aged Care, Home and Community Care or Disability Support
- Blue Card and NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
- Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
- Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies

**Selection Criteria**
- Desirable: Can you supply evidence of an up-to-date influenza vaccination & COVID 19 vaccination in accordance with the current Public Health Directive for Aged Care Facilities
- Desirable: Do you have full Australian working entitlements as an Australian Citizen. Australian Permanent Resident or New Zealand Resident?
- Desirable: If you don't have full working entitlements, do you have a current working Visa? Please list your visa, for example: Bridging Visa, Regional Sponsorship visa etc.
- Desirable: If you are successful for this role, you may be required to undergo a series of pre-employment checks; that may include your Right to Work in Australia, Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and a Health Screening Questionnaire. Do you consent to this?
