Kitchen Staff

We are excited to announce a job opportunity for kitchen staff to join our team at “Sum Cafe and Thai eatery. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about food, preparing, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting our chefs in creating culinary delights.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Preparing vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients for cooking
- Cleaning dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Keeping the kitchen area tidy and organized
- Portioning ingredients according to recipes
- Assisting teammates with various tasks as needed
- Helping teammates cook some ingredients

**Requirements**:

- Certificate III in commercial cookery (will be given consideration)
- At least 1 year experience in a kitchen environment (preferred)
- Knowledge of basic knife skills, hygiene and food safety.
- Positive mindset and attitude
- Be responsible for your duties
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills
- Willing to learn new things and develop yourself all the time
