Accommodation Manager

We are seeking to hire an Accommodation Manager to join our Accord team on a permanent full-time basis. You will provide leadership and management in the area of Shared Supported Accommodation (SSA) within St John of God Accord (SJGA). This will be achieved through the implementation of organisational mission and business objectives in line with the SJGA strategic and operational plans.

Travel between sites and participation in an afterhours on call roster is a requirement of this position.

The Position- Provide the overall Operational Leadership and support the Cultural expectations of the designated Service Delivery areas, and operate within the policies and procedures of the organisation- Support opportunities the NDIS provides for growth in SSA’s. Ensure service delivery areas are compliant with DHHS, NDIS and any other funder organisations both from a Quality and Financial perspective- Responsible for overall Financial Performance of the designated service delivery areas.- Support the implementation of a Workforce Strategy that complies with the relevant Industrial Instruments as well as the flexibility to deliver support services to participants of the NDIS.- Continued embedding of SJGA’s “Customer Experience” strategy through education and consumer feedback as part of SJGA’s NDIS strategy for success in the NDIS.- Responsibility for the monitoring and compliance with the SJGA “Service Delivery Model” which embeds ‘choice and control’ of individuals as a key attribute to support SJGA in the NDIS.- In conjunction with the other Service Delivery Managers implement the relevant services departmental plans in alignment to the Strategic and Operational Plans of SJGA.- Responsible for implementation of the SJGA’s Learning and Organisational Development strategy and employee ensure compliance with all mandatory training requirements within designated areas.

While an understanding of the NDIS or similar service systems such as aged care is preferred, it's not essential. We are seeking the right person whose values, commitment and vision align with ours to make a real difference to our community.

Successful applicants must have a NDIS Screening clearance, Australian drivers licence and have a valid First Aid & CPR. You will demonstrate leadership capability within a complex environment and possess a Diploma or Degree in Disability studies or relevant discipline.

We can offer you- Salary: $99,730 to $110,852 plus 11.5% Superannuation- Permanent full-time, working 38 hours per week- Salary packaging up to $18,550 on a range of benefits such as mortgage, rent, meal entertainment, holiday accommodation or other everyday living expenses as well as options to salary package benefits above the FBT cap on items such as: Novated leasing- work related expenses- self-education and- additional superannuation- A healthy work-life balance through flexible work options, additional purchased leave & well-being programs
