About the Business Unit
The Strategic Communication Branch delivers communication services on behalf of the Department of Justice and Community Safety's (DJCS) business units to inform and educate the community about departmental policies, programs and legislation.

About the Role
The Adviser, Media provides communication support and advice to the department's business units, senior executives and ministerial offices.

About you
- Demonstrated experience in development and delivery of a range of communication activities and functions.
- A knowledge of State Government and department communication policies and processes is desired, but not essential.

Qualifications/Requirements
- A tertiary qualification in journalism, public relations or other communication-related discipline is desirable.

Upon commencement of employment with the department you will be required to provide evidence that you have an up-to-date vaccination status within the timelines specified by the department into the DJCS Service Portal. This includes evidence of three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine required by the department (from time to time).
