**Role Description/Criteria**

We are seeking a dynamic individual who can work as part of a collaborative team to support the learning of students in our Yr 3/4 Learning Area.

The successful applicant will work with a range of students in both small and whole group experiences which support the learning needs of individual students and the classroom curriculum. They will deliver a safe, engaging and inclusive program to the students in their care and be responsible for all associated aspects of planning, preparation and delivery of effective learning and teaching programs in collaboration with classroom teachers across the Victorian Curriculum.

**The successful applicant will**:

- have a commitment to the philosophy of Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of all children possess the qualifications, skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience
- have an understanding of an inquiry based approach to teaching and learning, inclusive of student voice and agency
- be prepared to be involved in extra curricular school activities
- have Accreditation to teach or lead Religious Education in a Catholic School or a commitment to obtain accreditation
- hold Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration

**In addition, successful applicants will be expected to**:

- Commit to the Catholic Ethos, the principles of Catholic teaching, and living the school’s vision
- Commit to the Nazareth Child Safe Policy & the Staff Code of Conduct
- Commit to ongoing professional learning and the continuing development of a positive school culture
- Have a capacity to promote contemporary and innovative practice
- Have an ability to communicate positively and effectively with all stakeholders in the school community and have high expectations for all students
- Gather, analyse and use student data to drive learning and teaching and inform best practice
