Melbourne, Australia Tandem Partners Full time

We’re partnering with an ASX-listed business within the energy sector at an exciting time of transformation and change as they both diversify their business model and continue their commitment to carbon zero.

Following an acquisition that has seen the business grow extensively across Australia, the newly created Reward Specialist role will have specific responsibility for the end-to-end remuneration and benefits portfolio for the newly acquired business while also supporting the longer-term transition of their workforce into the Group Reward environment.

Reporting into the P&C Operations Manager, some of your key responsibilities will include;
- Managing the reward program for a nationally dispersed workforce - including operational oversight of cyclical events like annual rem review, bonuses, and market data plus the delivery of a broad range of rem activities including benchmarking and job evaluation
- Collaborate with the broader P&C team, including Reward members, in the analysis, development and integration of reward frameworks aligned to compliance-based as well as cultural and performance-based objectives at Group level

With this recent acquisition as well as further growth of the organisation underway, this is an opportunity to join a rich and positive culture and with a business that is making significant steps forward for a greener world.

This is a genuine hybrid working environment where you will have the opportunity to combine office and home-based work days.

We will be looking for:

- Previous experience leading or supporting key remuneration and reward outcomes including cyclical events and ad-hoc requests
- Ideally, experience executing reward strategies across a dispersed, operational workforce - for example, retail
- Demonstrated hands-on analysis and data interpretation - has experience in the development of tools, processes and systems (eg Excel) to help inform decision-making
- Excellent business partnering approach and strong in building relationships and in stakeholder engagement
