**Role**: Cementing Field Specialist

**Location**: Perth WA, Adelaide, SA, Moomba SA & Roma QLD

**Type of contract**: Permanent

**Roster**: Full Time

The Cementing Field Specialist is responsible for organizing and performing all types of primary, remedial and downhole tool jobs within cementing service line.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for safe and efficient execution of oil and gas well cementing jobs on onshore/offshore rigs
- Operate specialist Cement Mixing and Pumping unit and onsite cement bulk plant comprising of pressure vessels
- Perform preventive maintenance on Cementing pump unit, Liquid Additive system and cementing batch mixing unit to ensure they are in job ready condition.
- Perform high pressure testing of Rig equipment, inflow testing, Formation Integrity Test and Leak Off Test.
- Execute downhole tool jobs including retrievable packers, bridge plugs and storm valves. Liaise with Customer representative on site to ensure all operations are performed as per the standards of safety and meeting the expectations of the customers
- Manages and directs a team of equipment operators on site for the execution of the work
- Participate in job risk analysis and continual improvement programs
- Ensure company and regulatory standard compliance

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Completed at least 2-3 years Technical TAFE Diploma Certificate desirable
- Minimum of 10 years of offshore field experience in the capacity of Cementing Job Supervisor executing primary, remedial and downhole tool jobs oil & gas Offshore Cementing and have the knowledge in operating and troubleshooting cementing and pumping equipment desirable
- Have worked in Semi-Submersible, Deep Water and jack-up rigs
- Competent in operating cement mixing and pumping unit involving high pressure downhole treatment and onsite cement bulk plant comprising of pressure vessels
- Highly skilled in performing preventive maintenance on cementing pump unit, liquid additive system and cementing batch mixing unit
- Ability to operate and maintain remote controlled cementing units
- Execute successful cement jobs according to design and client specification.
- Strong understanding of Schlumberger Offshore cementing equipment functionality and troubleshooting
- Manage personnel, equipment and materials to ensure they arrive at location on time
- Hands-on maintenance experience with mechanical and electrical equipment and engine
- Have valid BOSIET, MSIC, CA-EBS, and OGUK medical certificates
- Client and Service oriented Performance Focused
- Ability to learn quickly and translate the learning into practical solutions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able for immediate start
