Homebush, Australia Drake International Full time

Our client is running a Gift Fair exhibition at Sydney Olympic Park from the 15th of February to 22nd of February and require casuals to assist with setting up and packing down of the exhibition show, based in Homebush for the week.

We are looking for hard-working casuals to assist the set up and pack down of the event, and you need to be available for the 7 days at the beginning and end of the event.

Shifts will start at 7am each day with end times varying (between 5pm-7pm each day, 11pm on Tuesday 21/02) - you will be required to work for the entire shift (with flexibility to stay back if required)

**Exhibition Set-up**
- Wednesday 15/02
- 7am-6pm (Forklift)
- 8am-4pm (Labourers)
- Thursday 16/02
- 7am-7pm (Forklift)
- 8am-7pm (Labourers)
- Friday 17/02
- 7am-7pm (Forklift)
- 9am-8:00pm (Labourers)

**Exhibition Pack-down**
- Monday 20/02
- 7am-2pm (Forklift)
- Tuesday 21/02
- 2:30pm-8:30pm or 11:00pm (Forklift)
- 2:30pm-11:00pm (Labourers)
- Wednesday 22/02
- 7am-5pm (Forklift)
- 7am-4pm (Labourers)

Full training will be provided for the positions

**The Role**:

- Forklift Drivers (Counterbalance)
- Moving large palleted items from loading dock directly to the exhibitor stalls on the forklift
- You will be operating the forklift in tight/confined areas, so safety and awareness is ke
- General labourers
- Assisting with unpacking exhibitor items coming into loading dock
- Unloading pallets and items, stacking items onto pallets
- Using manual pallet jacks to move completed pallets to exhibitor stalls
- Other general labouring tasks as required for the event set up team

**Essential Criteria**
- Previous forklift experience for forklift drivers - counterbalance experience essential
- Warehousing experience is ideal for these roles
- General labouring experience ideal for the labouring position
- Good level of physical fitness required
- Able to work consistently and repetitively
- Able to work autonomously and as a part of a team
- Able to follow instructions
- Reliability and flexibility work across 7 days over the week (Tuesday to Friday, and then Monday to Wednesday)
- Must be available for each day of the trade show days

This is a great opportunity for some one-off casual work for the week however to be considered, you ideally need to be available for the 4 days listed above
