**WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual with previous team management or supervisory experience, who is looking for the next growth step in their career. As the Workshop Manager you will look to continue the success and growth of the business in the region, you will be based in our Cable Workshop in Thornton NSW 2322. The role will focus on maintaining existing customer relationships, as well as identifying new opportunities in the region.
- Previous Business Management or Supervisory experience
- Enjoys strong engagement with their team and looks to develop their people
- Ability to build relationships with both internal and external customers
- Service-oriented with a client-centric focus
- Competent in the Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with ERP software (Syteline) - desirable
- Strong communication and negotiation skills

**THE OPPORTUNITY**

This role contributes to the collective success of the cable services team based in Thornton and responsible for the following key activities:

- To ensure that Cables services remains successful and sustainable by meeting all it’s business unit requirements
- To develop and grow business opportunities by sourcing new clients and providing superior customer service to existing customers (both internal and external)
- Maintain regular face to face contract with both existing and potential customers
- Provide business unit forecasting, identifying workload requirement, critical risk and monthly performance figures
- Provide and support all business unit quotations and tender submissions, making sure all relevant opportunities are recorded in Ampcontrol’s CRM system.
- Oversee all business unit activities to ensure production and quality of products / services meet the relevant AS/NZS standards, Company standards and customer requirements.
- Review business unit regularly and resolve any problems ensuring 100% compliance to relevant certification.
- Engage, manage and lead the Ampcontrol culture by motivating the team to deliver, this will include reviewing workshop productivity and staff allocation.
- Deliver on key project milestones and achieve budgeted outcomes in sales, orders, employee utilisation and inventory levels.
- Ensure HSEQ standards are maintained to a high level.
- Assist in sales planning to target and maintain specific markets and identify future market opportunities
