**About the role & where you’ll be **working**

Our team at Southern Plus East Fremantle is expanding, and we are seeking part time Carers to work our morning and afternoon shifts

As a Carer, you’ll be playing an important role assisting residents with their daily activities such as showering & getting dressed. We want them feel safe, and at home in our facility.

**We’ll also be asking you to:

- **
- Carefully read & follow care plans
- Assist with personal care (e.g. showering)
- Work under the guidance of Shift Managers (Nursing & Facility)
- Treat our residents & their family with respect
- Show compassion & exercise patience**
**About You**

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have great interpersonal and communication skills to put our residents at ease. You have an attention to detail, and can effectively prioritise and multitask. You will also have a Cert III in Aged Care or something similar. Most importantly, you'll have a genuine desire to make a difference in our residents' lives.

**To be considered for this role, you’ll need:

- **
- A Certificate III in Aged Care/ Individual Care or equivalent.
- Initiative & the ability to effectively prioritise & multitask.
- Great communication skills (spoken & written).
- Attention to detail for good record keeping.
- Morning and afternoon availability is desirable.

- A completed pre-employment health questionnaire
