**JOB SUMMARY**

Santos is currently seeking a skilled and experienced **Warehouse Assistant / Storeperson** to perform general warehouse duties at our Riverwood facility.

The successful applicant will be responsible for building and dispatching pallets, receiving stock, stock control and general ad-hoc warehouse duties.

**RESPONSIBILIES & DUTIES**

The primary responsibility for a **Warehouse Assistant / Storepeson** is to dispatch and receive items, pick pack orders and general warehouse duties as set by the **Warehouse Manager**.

The **Warehouse Assistant** reports directly to the **Warehouse Manager**.

Daily duties include;
- Receiving and storing goods.
- Picking and packing orders.
- Loading and unloading deliveries.
- General warehouse ad-hoc tasks
- Store goods and raw materials properly in designated areas.
- Maintain a safe and clean workplace.

**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**
- Pallet stacking & wrapping
- Experience working in a warehouse environment (preferably in the food and/or manufacturing industry)
- Forklift licence
- Committed to quality, safety and communication
- Team-oriented and self-directed
- Able to multi-task in a fast paced food production environment.
- Capable of lifting 25kg unassisted
- Reliable mode of transport

**SALARY**

We offer a competitive salary, guided by the _Food, Beverage and Tobacco Manufacturing Award 2020_.
