The Jewish Quarterly is seeking a Marketing & Circulation Coordinator to oversee operations and assist with the journal's expansion in the international market. This is a part-time role with flexible working arrangements.
Reporting to: Morry Schwartz, Publisher
Location: 22-24 Northumberland Street, Collingwood VIC, plus some work from home hours as by negotiation
Hours: 15 per week, flexible
The Jewish Quarterly is an independent publication that has cultivated literary journalism of the highest standard for seventy years. We publish some of the world’s best writers on Jewish issues, and issues of humanity from a Jewish perspective. We’re seeking a Marketing & Circulation Coordinator to oversee operations and assist with the journal’s expansion in prominence and influence in the international market.
Responsibilities will include:
- Working with the Publisher to devise and implement marketing strategies for individual issues, subscription drives and ongoing campaigns;
- Exploring and coordinating partnership opportunities, including events and promotions;
- Managing all distribution channels, including bookshops, newsagents and digital:
- Working with the Production Manager to coordinate printing and delivery logistics;
- Liaising with individual distributors with regards to sales materials, scheduling, stock and other requirements for each issue;
- Administration and maintenance of digital channels;
- Coordinating and implementing all EDMs through Campaign Monitor, including a weekly newsletter;
- Maintaining and expanding social media presence;
- Managing website content and eCommerce (Shopify);
- Subscriptions support and customer service; and
- Reporting on subscriptions, sales and digital activity.
