**Mechanical Fitters & Boilermakers - ASAP November & Decemeber Shutdowns**

**Job Title**: Mechanical Fitter - Shutdown Opportunities
**Location**: Various Local and FIFO Minesites

**Start Date**: Starting as early as 20th of November, with other shutdowns throughout November & December
**Hourly Rate**: $60 - $72 per hour, depending on site

**Position Overview**: Hire Personnel Services, a rapidly growing recruitment agency, is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters & Boilermakers for upcoming shutdowns across local and FIFO mine sites. Known for working with prestigious clients in the mining and heavy industries, we offer both local and FIFO shutdown opportunities to skilled tradespeople looking to contribute to essential maintenance projects. In this role, you’ll perform vital fixed plant maintenance, supporting smooth operations and efficient shutdown timelines.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs on fixed plant equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues to maximize productivity
- Adhere to safety and operational standards in a dynamic work environment
- Collaborate with team members and site personnel to meet shutdown deadlines

**Requirements**:

- Australian Trade Certificate in Mechanical Fitting OR Heavy Fabrication
- White Card
- Valid Driver’s License
- Working at Heights Certification
- Confined Space Certification
- Prior experience with fixed plant maintenance in mining or heavy industry
