**Shop Assistant (coffee making skills desirable)**

We're seeking a customer service-oriented and proficient shop assistant to become an integral part of our team.

**Job Details**:

- Casual
- Monday to Friday, Saturday mornings (shop trades between 6am-6pm M-F, 9am-2pm Sat)
- 3-5 shifts per week
- Shift times approx: 6am-2pm, 10.30am
- 6pm
- All training provided
- Barista skills desirable

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate tills and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist customers with placing orders and ensure order accuracy.
- Prepare and serve coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, and lattes, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bakery, including cleaning and sanitising workstations, equipment, and eating areas.
- Stock and replenish bakery products, beverages, and supplies as needed.
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflow and a positive working environment.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $32.06 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- coffee making: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
