You are a dynamic and detail-oriented individual with sound experience in administration and finance, a strong understanding of invoicing and financial reporting cycles and structures. You have excellent communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills, and you are passionate about providing exceptional customer service. About the role
Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, you will work to ensure quality and 100% accuracy of all billing for Serco Justice & Immigration Services. You will manage the continuous improvement of billing processes and procedures, enhancing quality control checks, maintaining contractual pricing tables, and ensuring all billing is generated within agreed timeframes. You will manage customer queries and perform root cause analyses to drive out billing errors and reducing the volume of credit notes.

**To be successful, you will have**: The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour Sound experience in administration and finance Strong understanding of invoicing Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Strong understanding of order to cash process flow Great problem solving and process improvement initiative Stamina for analysing voluminous transactions and attention to detail Good customer service skills Excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills Experience in the use of SAP (desirable) Tertiary qualifications in Finance or Business-related field (desirable) Experience working either in the Public Sector or alongside Government clients, or in a multinational corporation (desirable) Located in Canberra (desirable) or open to remote locations Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen (Essential) Current National Police Check or willing and able to obtain one (Essential)
