**Position overview**:
A full time Laboratory Technician role has become available in the QC team at our allnex Botany Site. Laboratory Technician is responsible for the testing of materials for quality control purposes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform all laboratory tests according to written instructions, including existing/ newly introduced equipment
- Perform mathematical calculations using supplied equations or spreadsheets
- Use ERP (SAP) software for incoming material control, entering QC data, and generating COAs
- Maintain housekeeping in Laboratory
- Maintain, identify need to order, and organize (store) laboratory supplies/inventory
- Perform laboratory equipment calibration per documented procedures and maintain records of calibration as indicated
- Troubleshooting erroneous test results
- Other operations as determined

**Required skills and experience**:

- Prior laboratory experience preferred
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed
- Be able to multitask in a fast paced lab environment, providing accurate results
- Strong MS Office experience, with a focus on MS Excel
- Strong in math and chemistry
- Able to work independently and not requiring constant direction
- Ability to be flexible in work scheduling and variability in work activities

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree in a Chemistry or Science related field is required
