- Must be available for before and after school transports during the week (preferably every weekday but not mandatory)
CAPS provides support work to young people in Out of Home Care (foster care) and NDIS participants. We provide support to young people under the age of 18 all across Melbourne. The majority of our work provides transport to young people but we also provide in-home and in-community support.
We are currently looking for new workers to join our Out of Home Care support team. This position will require workers to provide transport and support work when needed, as well as supervise contact visits. Workers will preferably have full availability throughout the work week.
Staff must be reliable and able to work in a fast-changing environment to ensure that we can provide our clients with stable support and ensure that we meet their needs as best we can. If this is you, please contact us for more information.

**Requirements**:
- First Aid Certificate
- Police Check
- Working with Children Check
- NDIS Screening Check
- NDIS Orientation Completion Certificate
- Infection Control Training
- Child Safety Training
- Divers Licence
- Access to a car
**Preferred**:
- Experience in family contact supervision
- CPR Training Certificate
- Privacy Act Awareness Training
- Aboriginal Training
- LGBTQIA Training
- Cert IV in Disability (or other disability training)
- Cert IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention (or other similar qualifications)
**Job Type**: Casual
Pay: $31.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Afternoon shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability
**Experience**:
- child minding: 1 year (preferred)
- family contact supervision: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driver Licence (required)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
