Security Officer

**Introduction**:
We are currently seeking a Shift Supervisor preferably with retail shopping centre experience who has the ability to manage a team of Security Officers as required. This will be a full time position with a 4 on 4 off work roster to ensure you get a great work/life balance.

Shifts will include 2x day shifts followed by 2x night shifts

You will be paid as a level 4 security officer under the award:
$25.41 Hourly Rate + Applicable Penalty Rates and Allowances

**Description**:
Join a well established and supportive team working a varied role with tasks including but not limited to:

- Leading and managing a team of Security Officers
- Management of incidents,
- Access control
- Client liaison
- Foot/Buggy patrols of the centre
- Incident response
- First Aid attendance
- Retailer assistance
- Control room operations

**Skills and Experiences**:

- Valid QLD Security Licence with Crowd Controller and monitoring component
- Security Certificates
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Proof of Australian Work Rights
- Demonstrated Retail Shopping Centre experience
- The ability to work closely with the client and Securecorp to ensure all service deliveries are provided in line with client expectation and best practice.
- Minimum 2 years experience in an equivalent role as a Senior Security Officer
- Impeccable Administration skills
- Highly developed Leadership and Communication Skills
- Strong Time Management skills
- A proactive and innovative problem solver who leads by example and can build team cohesiveness
