Australia Zoo has an exciting opportunity available for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our Accounts team in a Full Time capacity

**Primary Duties -**
- Collect and input all supplier invoices/credits for the Australia Zoo Group of Entities into the Accounting system
- Ensure appropriate authorisation for all invoices from managers prior to payment in accordance with department procedures
- Reconcile all creditor statements
- Prepare batches/EFT payments/BPAY payments
- Archive all paid supplier invoices
- Reconcile all credit card statements
- Opening and sorting mail
- Operation, management and training for the ProMaster/ExpenseMe system
- Issue remittance advices
- Create and maintain suppliers
- Enter manual payments

**Essential Criteria -**
- Experience in a similar role
- High attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
- Ability to deal with high volumes of data processing
- Hold a current driver’s licence and transport to the Zoo
- Great computer software skills, including Excel and Accounting packages
- Ability to build good relationships with vendors and suppliers
