**About the business**

The Miami Bakehouse Group has been operating for more than 20 years and is a leading food manufacturer operating across 7 sites. Our central baking facility and head office in Greenfields, Mandurah supplies our six retail businesses across WA’s southwest. We offer a huge selection of delicious gourmet handmade pies, breads and cakes to our wonderful customers using the best quality ingredients from local suppliers in WA.

**The role**

Miami Bakehouse’s production bakery operates across 7 days a week. Our Bakery Assistants are rostered between 20-35 hours per week on a rotating roster. Shift times within the Bread Department are between 2pm and 11.30pm therefore, the role is suited to those who like to work in the evening.

The role requires you to move fast and have good energy, strength and fitness. You will work alongside our qualified Bakers and Pastrycooks, handcrafting our range of award-winning breads.

Previous experience in food preparation and food safety is highly regarded, although we are happy to train someone who is efficient, organised and willing to learn.
- Availability to work a range of days across Monday-Sunday inc w/e, school and p/hols.
- The ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Excellent communication and numeracy skills
- An energetic and positive work ethic
- Physical fitness - some heavy lifting is required
- Previous bakery experience preferred, but not essential as full training is provided.
