**About us**

Little Grommets is a privately owned OSHC service providing care for children aged 5 years to 13 years old, located in Banora Point and Pottsville. Our Banora Point service has been running from Banora Point Primary School for the past 12 years and our Pottsville service has been running from St Ambrose Catholic School for the past 6 years.

We're looking for an addiontal Lead Educator to work alongside our current Lead Educator, with the following skills and experience:
If you are studying towards or hold any of the following Qualifications, OSHC work is great for flexibility around study hours.
- A Bachelor of Educations, Early Childhood, Primary or Secondary Education.
- A Certificate III or Diploma in Children's services.
- Youth/Social or Disability Support or Teacher's Aide.
- A Bachelor of Music, Arts, Sports.

**The role**
- To build a relationship with the school and partner on school events and community engagement
- Enjoy the creative freedom to plan and deliver enriching experiences everyday
- Form strong relationships with children and the families
- Manage your team of educators
- Manage the compliance and medical documentation

**This is a casual position, minimum of 20 hours per week. At our Banora Point service.**

flexibility of 5 afternoons, 2.30pm - 6pm

3 or more mornings, 6.30am - 9am

Plus split shift allowance.

Monday - Friday, no weekend work.

30 plus hours a week during holiday care.

Closed on public holidays and for 2 weeks over the Christmas/New year period.
- Experience working in a similar role
- You thrive in a fast paced environment
- A current Working With Children Check - NSW
- Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk CHCPRT001
- First Aid & CPR
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Confident interpersonal skills, no matter if you’re talking with a kindy, their parent, one of your team or the school Principal
- Strong problem-solving skills and can-do attitude
- You’re a natural leader with an eye for detail
- Have a genuine interest in creating enriching experiences for primary-aged children
- You’re energetic, enthusiastic and love to have FUN
- You have an understanding or willingness to learn and further develop your skills around the Laws and Regulations, NQF, MTOP framework
