**Position Summary**:
The Front of House Team Member is the face of our taqueria, responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience by greeting, seating, and assisting guests with a friendly, professional attitude. This role involves taking orders, answering menu questions, delivering food, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment. You will work closely with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth flow of service, helping to create an enjoyable, efficient dining experience for our customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Interaction**:

- Greet and welcome customers warmly as they arrive.
- Answer questions about the menu, including ingredients, dietary restrictions, and special requests.
- Take accurate orders and communicate any special instructions to the kitchen staff.
- **Service Duties**:

- Ensure food and drinks are delivered promptly and correctly.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, respond to inquiries, and provide assistance throughout their visit.
- Clear tables and reset seating areas quickly for new guests.
- **POS and Cash Handling**:

- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to input orders, handle cash, and process payments accurately.
- Balance cash drawer at the end of shifts and report any discrepancies.
- **Cleanliness and Presentation**:

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, counters, and floors.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a clean, safe environment for both customers and employees.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared and delivered in a timely manner.
- Assist other team members as needed during busy shifts.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in customer service or restaurant front-of-house preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Friendly, positive attitude with a passion for customer service.
- Reliable and punctual with a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Familiarity with Mexican cuisine is a plus but not required—training will be provided.

Pay: $26.48 - $34.51 per hour
