**About the role**:
We are currently seeking experienced personal care assistants to work on one of our 24/7 programs in Ballarat, specifically focusing on providing care for individuals with high complex care needs. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who require specialized care and support around the clock.

**Responsibilities**:

- Travelling to our client’s home to assist with all aspects of care to ensure that their daily needs are met.
- Providing person-centred care with a focus on dignity, safety, and well-being.
- Maintaining clear communication channels and promptly reporting any changes in client’s health status.
- Adapting care plans to address the unique requirements of each client.

**About you**:

- previous experience working with individuals with complex care needs, preferably in a 24/7 care setting.
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability) or equivalent qualification.
- Current First aid and CPR certification.
- NDIS worker screening check clearance or willingness to undertake one.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanour.
- Knowledge and experience working with clients with ABI’s, challenging behaviours, and high complex care needs.

Pay: $32.00 - $37.00 per hour

- Shift work
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:
