**HammondCare Hammondville is currently looking for several Permanent, Part-Time Specialised Carers to join our team.**

Our Cottage-style homes provides evidence-based dementia care to our residents. We have modelled our cottages to feel like ‘home’ for the residents in our care. Day to day, you will provide:

- Personal care - showering, grooming, toileting, dressing, pad changes
- Domestic assistance - cooking, cleaning and laundry
- Engagement with the residents, ensuring they are involved in the activities they WANT to do.
- Recognise, report and respond appropriately to changes in the conditions of residents within your skills and competencies.

All new staff will complete a mandatory onsite orientation with a Workplace Trainer, have buddy shifts and be supported by experienced Registered Nurses, Allied Health team and Managers on site.

**To be successful in this role, you will**:

- Full work rights due to the nature of the hours we have which exceed student visa requirements
- Have a minimum of 1 year experience in Aged Care/Dementia Care
- Have knowledge of complex dementia care including recognising and reporting changing behaviours
- Be flexible and able to commit to a range of shifts including morning, nights & weekends.
- Have knowledge & experience of people living with Dementia & their needs.
- Applicants with Cert lll or Cert lV in Aged Care would be viewed favourably.
